Frequently asked questions around classes

  • You do not need experience for beginning or open-level classes. For classes specified as intermediate or advanced, please come with experience behind you.

  • Mat Foundation, Classical Mat (Beginner), or a Tower Foundations classes- all are great entry points. For specific needs a private session is great for a guided game plan

  • Not at all. But… if you have extremely limited ROM, you might feel more comfortable beginning with a private lesson to get a taste of the moves you’ll be doing.

  • Anything comfortable to move in. Grip socks are highly recommended, we allow bare feet but no regular socks on the reformer.

  • 5-10 minutes early is perfect. Please avoid arriving more than 15 minutes early so the previous class can exit comfortably.


  • Tell your instructor before class. In a group setting we will do our best to offer alternatives if needed, however we can not always provide individual modifications so know your limits and sit an exercise out if you are experiencing pain.
