New to kineo?
Welcome. Most people spend their first class learning the ropes and warming up to the space– which is exactly why we keep things small, clear, and guided.
We offer 15+ classes curated to help you feel more energized and centered. If you’ve taken Pilates or yoga before, feel free to jump into any class that matches your level or mood.
Never done Pilates?
Trying something new can make you feel a bit out of your depth at first- that’s normal and we’re here to guide you. Our New to Pilates Pathway is the best place to start: it includes a personal assessment to see where you’re at, one reformer and one mat class. It gives you a foundation to build on before you explore our full offering. Just click below to book the special and we’ll lead you step by step.

Good to know:
-
Depends which class. For total beginners we recommend starting with a private session/s and our beginner level mat and equipment classes. For people with some experience, many of our classes are open level. For advanced classes, please come with experience behind you.
-
Its great to start with a private session if you have specific goals or want direct feedback but if you prefer to jump straight in to group classes we recommend starting with Mat Foundation, Classical Mat (Beginner), or a beginning Tower class- all are great entry points.
-
Not at all. But… if you have really limited ROM, you might feel more comfortable beginning with a private lesson to get a taste of the moves you’ll be doing.
-
Anything comfortable to move in. Grip are socks highly recommended, we allow bare feet but no regular socks on the reformer.
-
5-10 minutes early is perfect. Please avoid arriving more than 15 minutes early so the previous class can exit comfortably.
-
Tell your instructor before class. We’ll adjust movements and offer alternatives as is possible in a group class setting. However you know best your own limits, so please inform us if you are experiencing pain.
